Do you have an active passport? When was the last time you used it? Do you think everybody should have one whether they plan on international travel or not?

Yes.
I had to get one in order to travel to the P.I. a long time ago. Have been across the Canadian & Mexican borders, but did not need the passport at that time. Before the Covid thing I applied for a state "enhanced" drivers license on the chance I wanted to visit Canada, but that was such a hassle that I decided to 'refresh' my passport instead.
Just on the chance that I might need or want it & won't be under pressure with a time limit.
I can't think of any reason that everyone should be required to have a passport unless they start requiring one to get into Disneyland.

Yes i have a passport, actually i got two both active but been a long time that i use them.
I think it is a a good idea everyone to have

My wife and I are active travelers so it's a must. Also, she's an immigrant and save for a couple cousins, most of her family are in her home country, so we need them to visit family, too.

I requested one early 2019 for my travels to the USA. Since then I've only used it in 2022 to go to Scotland.
