I wish I can be like this, but if someone does me wrong then it's hard to look at them the same without any resentment.

I was like this, but then you realize life is too short to hold it all in there. As much as I dislike certain things that people have done to me, or things people have said about me or accused me of, I can't let it linger forever. I have to find a way to move past it, and if that means forgiving and moving on, then so be it.

I'm the same way. It depends on who they are and what they did to deserve me holding a grudge against them.

OMG! I am "Captain Geteven". I live for revenge, it keeps me going. Once someone offends me I will use each and every opportunity to even the score. Years after the fact I'll strike suddenly like a viper. I have gotten people fired from their jobs, evicted from their apartments, in trouble with their neighbors and friends, etc. And I have beaten up a few up too. (never laid a hand on a woman)

Where I am from people knew not to mess with my so called father. The acorn never falls far from the tree.

I am working on being able to let go when people behave in a particular way to me. It makes zero sense, being the type of guy that will hold grudges for long. I mean, it doesn't help me or the other person that is involved.

I have mixed feelings about holding grudges.

On one hand, I try not to dwell on things and make matters worse. But honestly, forgiveness isn't my strong suit.

If I let something go, it's usually for small stuff. But for the big stuff, forgiveness doesn't come easy. I've got my limits I don't hand out forgiveness like candy.

It kind of varies. Some grudges I hold for a long time, others not so much. I do have a couple of grudges that people would hear and say are stupid, but to me, they were strongly effecting me, so... But most of the time, I try not to~

I wouldn't say I hold grudges though if you do me wrong depending on what you did I will never want to be your friend again. I live and learn and though I don't hold grudges I still don't want toxic people in my life. If people aren't willing to grow then I don't need them around me.

I don't like the feeling of angst, the knot in my stomach, churning over unpleasant things. And if there were some issues and someone said hey, let's let bygones be bygones and we didn't click or maybe there was misunderstanding on both sides, I would most likely let whatever that was go. As human beings we are all flawed and we sometimes hurt each other in ways we don't realize. I mean depends on the intent, motive, etc too.
