Swimming isn't for me. I have tried to learn how to swim on several occasions but the fear of drowning never allows me to put my mind to it. I have watched someone drown, so it's affecting psychologically.

Sure. I was forced against my will to learn that useless skill as a child. I don't care for it, though.

I'm a good swimmer plus I attend many Aquafit sessions in the pool at my gym for resistance training

I do understand about having a fear as I feel the same way in a vehicle I don't drive & I hate being a passenger in fear of being in an accident

Yes.

Surprised at how many people don't know how to swim. You just kick your legs and move your arms. Hopefully you'll remember that if you ever fall into some water.

I am a good swimmer. Used to go swimming every weekend at my grandmas house when it was warm out.

Just lay on your back on the surface and let the current carry you. :p

That is actually true. The buoyancy force pushes you up to the surface anyway, so you can't sink. That's why divers use led weighs to counter the buoyancy force.

If you're really skinny you wont float. Fat floats.
