Do you own a forum?

If so, why did you make it?

If not, have you ever thought of running one or do you just prefer being a member or a staff member of a forum you like?

I do. I made the forum because I was tired of every good roleplaying site I went to closing their doors in their members' faces. It used to have ~2000 posts on it, but after Proboards changed their TOS I moved all of the posts over (most of the longer threads got saved into pages using a SMF mod) so now it is idling at about 465 posts and waiting for me to breath life into it once more.

I don't, I am however co-administrating Level Up. I have thought about opening my own place, but I just enjoy working in a team a lot more and LU is pretty much sucking up all my free time atm.

I've tried numerous times to run a forum of my own, but they always seem to die due to lack of motivation and or time... It's a lot of work.

I have no desire to own and operate a forum. I'm happy just either being a member or part of the staff.

I've had many forums, but I've only had one successful forum called Pivot Beta.

It died when I was grounded from the computer for a month, after it had been running for a good year ):
