Family get together is becoming more and more common. The fact of the matter remains that many family members reunite each weekend in many cases. It is a great thing and it increases family bonds. So, do you participate in family get together?

All the time. There's gonna be the usual family christmas party on Christmas Eve and im looking forward to it!

No, I don't, because my family lives overseas.

Ah! That must be a really hard part. I have also lived in a different country for some time. During that time, I also used to miss my family a lot. Having said that, I regularly used to speak to my family members over the phone. This can offer some relief when you are feeling lonely. 😀

Yeah, I do family get-togethers but honestly it's a mixed bag. We meet up maybe once a month at my parents' or aunt's place - good food, cute kids, but also awkward small talk and that one uncle who always brings up politics. I usually leave feeling more connected even when it's kinda draining, but every weekend would be way too much for me. I need some weekends to just chill or hang with friends. The monthly thing works though - keeps the family bonds strong without being overwhelming. What about you, do you do the regular family thing?

Family get togethers are a time for family members to unite and strengthen the bonds between them through shared activities. I always attend the yearly family get-together done annually by my extended family. I have never missed it.

Family get-together are routine for me and I always participate in them without ever missing. We meet once a year for my extended family. And it is always a time to celebrate our common identity and familial bonds.
