Do you relate closely with colleagues at work?

There is a school of thought that explains how important it is for many of us to be careful of how we relate with colleagues at work because some of them might be jealous. I don't know what we all think about such a school of thought, is it something that we should believe in or is it better to relate with everyone freely at the office?

It can be really hard for many people to deal with colleagues at work. I have also faced the same problem as well at some point. The problem is the fact that certain colleagues could be really annoying. I have myself dealt with this problem for some time. They bully others for their own entertainment.
