Do you use cheats and mods on your games?

I do. I use a game genie to mod my saves for my PS3. I don't have knowledge of any other programs that you can use to mod your saves. But it works. You just put your save file on a USB drive.

I don't use cheats all of the time. But if I've played the game before. Than sure.

I've cheated on games like the new Final Fantasy X/X-2 and Final Fantasy 13 to get around the constant grinding.

Pretty handy and it takes you in a different direction.

I don't use them in official games. But in some unofficial ones? Only if the game's unfairly difficult.

On second playthroughs to speed up the boring bits sometimes.

Modding PC games I do a lot. Some RPGs I couldn't play without anymore. Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul was the saving grace of that game for example.

I've had horrible luck finding them for the PS3. I manage to use some mods on my original save file. But there aren't many from what I could find.

What program do you use?

Not in a regular play through, that takes away what makes the game a game. If you're doing it to make the game harder or special properties like modding Dark Souls to look better or make the enemies more aggressive then sure. But never something like infinite health or ammo.

i played dark souls 2 for like 5 minutes
and then i was like "screw this shit" and went back to rekking scrubs on call of duty

I have used mods for GTA: SA once when I had it on my computer.

As for cheat codes, I only use them after I complete a game. If it's something like the first 3 3D GTA games, I use cheats after I complete the game so I can have all the fun I want.

if not valve game that's multiplayer
Skyrim believe it or not on the PC it doesn't punish you for cheating at all
meaning you can use god mode from day 1 or cheat armors or weapons or ores
seriously...

Game Genie. Great tool. I just hate it that I have to be connected to the internet every time I need to use it.

Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't.
