Do you use spell check?

I use it whenever I write longer papers, i.e. for my studies, but not otherwise.

On my phone to correct things when I'm typing too fast so I don't have to go back and redo it. Rarely on here unless it's a big definition word that I can barely spell.

There's a setting in the Chrome Browser that I have activated. Sometimes, I type too fast and all my misspelled words are automatically underlined in red. I just have to click the word, and Google shows me the proper spelling via a dropdown option.

depends

if I use a forum like this, I tend to not care too much about being 'proper' if that makes sense. I will type lowercase usually, and I like a casual approach.

if I'm doing something a bit more serious/formal, I will use spell check as I occasionally miss things whilst typing. I'm typically good at spelling.

Since my answer yesterday I've installed Grammarly on Chrome. Since English isn't my native tongue, grammatic errors are frequent in my writings, and Grammarly helps me eliminating the worst of those.

The only spell check I use after thinking really is the auto check on my phone and let’s just say thats very annoying.

I'm a terrible speller, have been all my life. So I pretty much cling to spell check, which funny enough google is the best one to use.

Idk what the story is with spell check on my desktop, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. The "Idk" at the start of that sentence was highlighted as wrong but then as I wrote more words it's suddenly correct.
So, I just opt to Google words when I need their spelling.

On my phone, yeah it's pretty reliable so I'll use it then, but I don't have it set to auto-correct.

Yeah, all the time. I am a lazy and fast typer so *I need* a spellchecker to help me write coherent sentences that other people can understand. ? I use Microsoft Editor which is a neat web browser plugin that helps you spellcheck and improve your writing.

Yes, I use Grammarly :) not that I'm lazy it's just that I'm not good at spelling and Grammarly style words and at some point you may see that. Then again since been typing online for years I have improved so much in time.

Even so, every PC has it built-in anyway :) Grammarly extension just back it more in details

It does need for me because I can handle it without it. Unless if I am working a typist or encoder, I will surely need it.

I have grammarly and its so useful and have helped me a lot in correcting my mistakes and its free
