A new trailer for the specials coming in November was released

I'm so excited! :dance2:

I read up on the new Doctor and he's only meant to be doing two seasons O.o

What did everyone think of the 3 specials?

The Star Beast - I enjoyed it, though I think this one was my least favourite of the three. I though the solution to Donna's metacrisis was a bit too easy. Just let it go? Ummm...OK?

It also completely flew over my head that Rose is trans during my initial viewing. I was reading a review after that mentioned it and I was like "wait...what??" Re watched the episode and I had just completely missed it. I'm easily distracted.

The Wild Blue Yonder - I think this one was my favourite of the three. Really enjoyed it. The Supernatural fan in me got excited when the Doctor did the salt thing. Loved Bernard Cribbins' cameo at the end. It's too bad he passed before they could film more scenes with him.

The Giggle - Really enjoyed this one. I thought Neil Patrick Harris was brilliant as the Toymaker. I'm not sure how I feel about bi-generation but I like it more than Chris Chibnall's whole Timeless Child BS. I think Ncuti Gatwa is going to be brilliant as the Doctor. I can hardly wait for the Christmas special.

I don't think this record for "Doctor seasons" will be broken:

Nope, the norm for the new series seems to be 2-3 seasons, not counting reappearances in specials. To be fair, even in the classic series, only Tom Baker and Jon Pertwee (who also happen to be my favourite Doctors to this day) lasted more than three.
