When I was a child we had a collie dog (like a sheep dog) and a mongrel. The collie dog was from a rescue home but she was unpredictable with us children so my mom got her rehomed. The mongrel died when I was 17, she was a lovely dog.
I wouldnt have a dog now though.

Candy and Arnold.
Arnold was Candy's son. Arnold got hit by a car once but he was still fine miraculously. Maybe it was because he had a lot of extra padding (he was very overweight).
Sure do! We have a Miniature Pinscher, she's too cool for herself. One thing I've noticed is that they're very loving and caring, because she is always begging for us to pet her and show her some attention. Also, Flossy, our doggie, thinks she's a pit bull lol
She'll bark at any dog, no matter how big it is.

They both lived until about 10 years old.
Henry was a border collie mix--he lived until he was nearly 21.
Bingo was a black lab mix--he lived for 10 or 12 years too.
Currently we have Junior also a black lab mix--going on 3.....

I have one dog that I've had for over eight years now and sits around and does nothing and I have another dog that I have had for about five years that lives outside. I had another one but it died recently
Hehe...we've had many dogs throughout my lifetime. As soon as one died or ran away, my dad somehow found another one to bring home.
Currently, we have one...he's a mutt...not sure what kind he is, though. My mom's friend at work had some and my brothers begged my mom to get one...so they take care of him.
His name changes all the time...I just call him Stupid.
