Donating Sperm

In theUK the children of sperm donors are now able to trace who their father is. They banned it being anonymous 4 years ago. If I was a guy, that would totally put me off donating. I know someone who did donate, before that law came in.
I would donate! If there wasn't a possibility that the mother could find you and ask for support later down the line. (If I remember correctly, a woman already has tried that!!!) Unfortunately they don't take everyones semen..lol...there are screenings that you must pass through. They want certain people to give... I went one time with my friend and he had to fill out a questionaire and then the lady said that they were looking for more tall and blonde haired eyes with grey eyes!! WTF!!!!
Yes I would because I know it is going to a family where the father can't have kids, yet they want to feel the joy of having a baby! It gives me a good feeling inside even though I could have 30 kids by 30 different women in this world!

Then I'd say sure. If I was, say, a surrogate mother, then I wouldn't mind my children-around-the-world knowing. Let's say a couple really wants a child, but can't physically have one. It's not like they're going to go through all that trouble just to abuse the kid. So let's say that future child grows up nice and happy, then they become older and want to know who their real mother is. Why CAN'T they know?
And say their parents never tell them. Well they'd never know. I personally wouldn't go seek out that kid. If I wanted to keep the child then I wouldn't have offered to carry it in the first place. Personal decision I guess. If you think you're going to get really attached to this child in those nine months, don't do it. Simple. Although I guess I'd really need to have children to know. But I do have a decent understanding of how unconditional a mother's love can be, after all, I do have one.
