What would be the worst thing to throw away by accident?

What have you accidentally thrown away?

I remember one time I threw out a box containing important files at work. Got on a few people's bad side with that one.

A few weeks ago I bought a sheet set for my bed. The sheets must have been irregular because the bottom sheet wouldn't fit properly. I had accidently thrown the receipt out that was sitting on top of some 'junk mail' fliers. At least that's what I think happened because it's nowhere to be found. :(

Can't you take it back and get store credit or a gift card?

I lost my engagement ring sometime ago... I think my son go a hold of it and threw it away. I think it was a sign though cause that guy broke my heart anyways, so no marriage happened.

The worst thing I've ever thrown out? Umm... probably a receipt to an electronic (one that comes to mind, my last iTouch) and not registering it, so when it broke, I couldn't get it fixed... had to get a whole new one. :/

i threw my driver's license away by accident once. real bitch to replace too because i didn't have a birth certificate at the time.

I called the store and they said they can't do anything for me without a receipt.

That's stores for you.
I recently bought some shoes and had them on for maybe an hour and because of that... it made me realize that the shoes were a tad too small for me as it made my toes hurt. I had the receipt, but because I wore them for an hour, they wouldn't even exchange them for a bigger size. *sigh* Most stores are jerks like that. You would think they could at least give store credit without a receipt, but apparently these days even having a receipt isn't good enough. :/

:lame: What do they think? You stole the item and now you're trying return it for free store credit? Dishonest people ruin everything for the rest of us.

It's all about the money and if they can't sell a return, then that's profit they lose. :/

I accidentally threw away my brother's debit card once when we were going through the drive-thru! However, no biggie, I got it out as soon as I did it :P I was throwing trash away and the card slipped out of my hand.
