Double the gravity?

Let's pretend our planet's gravity has doubled, and now we have to live with it.

Whats the biggest problem?

walking about, breathing...........our bodies would have to adapt (and that would take a very very long time....many generaions) to cope....we would have to become shorter, heavier to deal with it
