....I probably have, but I usually dream about people who I actually know (if I happen to have a dream about someone).

I just remember them. Why in the world would I need a diary?

Dreaming about someone is normal... it could mean a few things such as you're thinking about her, or you have feelings for her...

That's the thing though, I don't recognize this person. Hence what I was saying in the original post.

Well, it's someone you have seen at one point in your life, since we don't create new faces in our dreams, we use one of the countless faces we've seen in tv, passing outside, from a distant and relatives.

In that sense, it could be someone who made an impact on you while you might've been walking around as a 3 year old with your parents and they were doing something that you thought was interesting and now they appeared in your dream when you've all forgotten about it.

I have in the sense that I 'met' the person online but never 'met' the person in real life. I dream about him often. I know what the dreams mean but there's nothing I can do to make the dreams a reality.

I have a hard time remembering my dreams. There are times I wake up thinking..wow I need to remember that dream... but only end up remembering that I wanted to remember it, but can't.
It would not surprise me to dream about someone I have not met.
