How many times did it take you to pass your driving test? Do you think there should be a limit on how many times you can fail?

I don't have mine yet but I know someone who took 7 try's to pass his test. I'm not getting in a car with him.

I passed mine on the first try.

I think the 'three strikes and you're out' rule should apply.

I just had to take both written tests again when I changed states.

One test for the basic license and one for a straight truck. Fortunately, I passed both first time.

If I had gone for the semi-truck, I would have had to have taken a road test.

Just the once. I don't think there should be a limit, because it's still such an important part in people's lives, especially job-wise.

If you can't understand it now, you probably never will, but you'll find that a lot of people have troubles with things like this. For example, I have social-anxiety, and have panic attacks when I drive a car. You can't forget the bazaar.

Being a driver of an old car, I learnt to see potential hazards, which mean't on the theory test I clicked to many times and often before the hazard had actually happened. Meaning a fail.

However, I think you are allowed three attempts, and if you fail all three, then you may not take it again.
