And it only took them decades to finally come to this conclusion.

CAIRO (AP) — An Egyptian court declared Hamas a “terrorist organization” on Saturday, further isolating the rulers of the Gaza Strip who once found a warm welcome under the country’s past Islamist government.

With the war-battered Gaza Strip’s borders closed, thousands of people have been shut out of a Muslim pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia because they cannot leave the sealed territory. Some 7,500 Gazans have sought to travel to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, for the minor umrah pilgrimage but have been turned away because Egypt restricts movement in and out of the coastal enclave.(AP Photo/Khalil Hamra)

The ruling by Judge Mohamed el-Sayed of the Court For Urgent Matters described Hamas as targeting both civilians and security forces inside Egypt’s restive Sinai Peninsula and aiming to harm the country. The Sinai has been under increasing attack by Islamic extremists since the Egyptian military ousted Islamist President Mohammed Morsi in 2013.

“It has been proven without any doubt that the movement has committed acts of sabotage, assassinations and the killing of innocent civilians and members of the armed forces and police in Egypt,” the judge’s ruling said, according to state news agency MENA.

In Gaza, Hamas official Mushir al-Masri condemned the decision and urged Egypt to reverse course.

“This ruling serves the Israeli occupation. It’s a politicized decision that constitutes the beginning of Egypt evading its role toward the Palestinian cause,” he said. “This is a coup against history and an Egyptian abuse of the Palestinian cause and resistance, which fights on behalf of the Arab nation. We call on Egypt to reconsider this dangerous decision.”

Consdering Egypt have long helped the Israelis in executing their oppression, I'm not shocked.

never question the man or the elite or you will be dealt with accordingly...

and if you don't want to play along, they will remove you and put in a leader that will...

it's not rocket science @webster!

and if you don't want to believe that's reality then believe whatever you want to...

Of course it ain't rocket science, Justice: if it were, (1)Barack Hussein Obama would not have elected President of the United States and (2)the U.S. wouldn't have engineered the overthrow of Iranian PM Mohamed Mossadeq back in 1953 - which, by the way, led to the return of the Shah, which in turn led to the rise of the mullahs in Tehran, etc.,etc.,etc...

Compared to the rest of the neighborhood, Egypt one of the better nations around; shame the rest of the region doesn't take their lead and recognize Israel's right-to-exist....

right to exist yet others can't?

Sure they can just stop lobbing rockets into Israel and kick out the terrorists and make a real commitment for peace.

@Justice: Yeah, when they stop lobbing rockets into Israel and stop boycotting Israel at international events. *reads Liberty's comment* ....someone beat me to that earlier thought.

To quote a few other thoughts' on the subject:
