How often do you use elevators?

Why do people keep pressing the button to call the elevator, even though that doesn’t make the elevator come quicker?

Do you always try to squeeze in even if the elevator looks full?

I only like elevators when they're empty apart from me. But they're equal parts fun and scary.

I don't really go any places where I get to use them on any sort of regular basis though. And sometimes I'll still choose the stairs.

I prefer to take elevators than escalators any day. Escalators freak me out, especially when they're going up.

My only option is to use elevators. Only go in ones that the 2 or 3 of us can fit in. My mom, bro and I.

I think the elevator is the best invention since sliced bread. if I'm somewhere and they have one, I'll use it.

I struggle a lot with stairs and it's good to know there is another option

for someone who is definitely claustrophbic at times, have no problems with elevators. but then... have (luckily) never been stuck on one.

I wish I had an elevator in my house! Going up and down the stairs gets old after a while.

Anyway I don't live in an area with very many tall buildings, most buildings around here are 2 or 3 stories max. Most of them do have elevators I think because of handicapped accessibility laws. I usually take the elevator when one is available because I am lazy.

They're a wonderful invention and quite useful. I do enjoy taking the stairs though, too.

I don't like elevators. My stomach feels like it drop when I get on them. I only use them if I have no other choice. If it's full, I'll wait until the next one.

I remember once I was in a two story wal-mart. Literally half the store is on the ground level and the other half of the store is on the 2nd level, odd layout but it looked and felt just like wal mart. They had a big elevator that you could bring your shopping cart into and go from floor to floor. It was bizarre. Anyway this one lady got in the elevator with her cart and was hitting the door close button before I could get there. There was plenty of room for me too. Guess she wanted it all to herself? Or maybe I looked like a big scary man? I dunno.

I remember once I was in a two story wal-mart. Literally half the store is on the ground level and the other half of the store is on the 2nd level, odd layout but it looked and felt just like wal mart. They had a big elevator that you could bring your shopping cart into and go from floor to floor. It was bizarre. Anyway this one lady got in the elevator with her cart and was hitting the door close button before I could get there. There was plenty of room for me too. Guess she wanted it all to herself? Or maybe I looked like a big scary man? I dunno.

That lady sounds like a witch. Please tell me where there's a two story Walmart with an elevator because I've never seen one, ever, and I'm quite curious.
