Elon Musk is proposing a new political party in the US called the American Party. What are your thoughts on this? Will it divide Republicans? Will it bring Democrats over for those who think their party is too far left? What will elections look like from here forward?

So, I take it Elon and Trump are done for good? Anyway, it's been polled Americans can't stand either party with Democrats faring even worse.

And looking at history, third party candidates coming from one party, hurt that party, giving the vote to the opposition. For instance, Teddy Roosevelt's third party run simply gave Wilson the presidency in 1912.

Which poll states that Americans can't stand Republicans? I thought they were growing in numbers as dissatisfaction with Democrats has increased.

I don't think his America Party will amount to anything at all. I don't see him following through with it.

It's been pretty quiet about the American Party this week. Maybe that's on purpose that the media doesn't want to cover it, hence, it's not getting out to the masses for information. The media really does play a big part in what people think.

Musk isn't totally a man of the people. He's just one when it doesn't interfere with his own business, one example being how he prefers foreign workers in his tech industry (aside from the guys putting the cars together).
