Do you have conversations with people via email as much as you used to?

There is so many alternate methods to keep in touch with people these days... Instant messengers, facebook, twitter, forums, etc etc

With certain people. Like my ex for example. We've always mainly used Email. And as for two long time online friends of mine. We email more then we talk on Instant Messengers now a days. Even if I do tend to make a bad habit of taking a few days to respond.

I run several businesses from my home. I use email to send and receive attachments and to also keep important conversations/information in folders for future use. I also use my email account as a means for certain friends to contact me. I do not and never will have a Facebook account.

~Edit~ After reading beowulfs post, I realized I forgot to mention that I have seperate email accounts. One is for business only and the other is the one my friends have.

i have 3 email adresses for different things............a personal one that used to get used a lot......lucky if i check that once a week nowadays.............one i use for signing up to places with, so all the spam mail goes there, check that every time i sign up somewhere so every other day........the last one is for work purposes.....gets checked once a day for incoming mail

I hardly ever read mine... then again, I never did.

So yes, I do have conversations as much as I used to

I only use email for practical matters like getting in touch with a certain company and school matters. Socially I hardly use it at all, it's all done via cell phone.

I still use my email a lot and everyone needs one to sign up for things, including Facebook! So emails are still necessary.

I personally wish people used Email but services like Facebook, Skype have really made it less relevant as a communication tool. Email has become more like an ID service for social networks, IMs and online communities.

I hardly use email now... I just use it to receive confirmation emails and such. Never really used it to keep in touch with people as I used MSN, Bebo and Facebook for that.

I still use email everyday. I prefer it to services like Facebook. You never know when Facebook's going to have a glitch and lose your messages, but with email it's pretty much easy to keep track of things.
