Have you ever had to call 911 (112 in Europe)? If so, why?

Yes. My next door neighbor in this apartment building I lived in before this place went ape shit and was blasting music and tossing things against the wall. I was rather terrified when I heard him smash out his front window, as well as break the mirror in his living room. Apparently, he had barricaded the front door with a couch and had spray painted the inside of the unit. I watched from my front window as the cops surrounded his front window with their guns drawn, though they had told me to get to the room furthest from the next door neighbor's living room. I don't think I'll ever forget that.

Yeah, my mother took too many pills when I was younger. Found her on the floor passed out. She wouldn't wake up no matter what I tried. So I called 911 in a panic.

After all was said and done she was mad at me because of the ambulance/hospital bills that happened as a result of me calling 911 on her.

999 in the uk

just the once.......a couple of cows wandering about on the side of the motorway (freeway to you lot).....got out of a farmers field

I've called twice for my best friends ex boyfriend who was suicidal, and when I was 17 my boyfriend died from a brain aneurysm, I was there and I had called 911 thinking it was only an epilepsy seizure. Turned out it was a brain aneurysm. I've also called 911 a few times on drunk drivers or people who are extremely high and cannot drive safely.

Unfortunately I've had to call 911 a lot in the past, but I'm hoping I won't have to call 911 for a very long time if not ever again.
