Ever had a bad experience on a flight

Lets face it when flying the last thing you need is for something to upset your time in that small flying tube. So have you ever had such an experience, what happened and what did you do.

I've only flown once (to Seattle) and the first take-off was a little nerve racking but the second one (going back home) was less intense.

Had to deal with 'popped' ears for the last 15 minutes of a flight. SO painful.
