They were big some years ago, Naruto, Bleach and other anime and video game forums were all over that you could create characters and have your own storyline.

I know that Xyphien on Forum Promotion has actually created a roleplay "forum" on Guilded which I joined but I didn't really get into it that much.
I actually wanted to create my very own medical town roleplay forum but that didn't come into fruitition.

I joined a lot of naruto and bleach rps back in the day, ran one naruto rp forum but didn't do well..
I did, waaayy back in like 2003. I wasn't super knowledgable in rp at the time though and had a terrible time.
Not enough people joining or people not being active enough?
We completely forgot about the story group here on Discussion Hub. Not exactly a roleplaying forum but was somewhat close enough I guess.
