Should it be allowed to keep exotic animals as pets?

Which exotic animals are okay and which ones should never be kept as pets?

Don't think I see a problem with non-dangerous or non-threatening animals.
Some of the Wolf or Wolf x are scary. The wild cats are beautiful, and I can sure understand the attraction...BUT
We have had llamas; I don't know of objections to those.

Not all exotic animals, no. I don't agree with people keeping monkeys or apes, I don't think big cats are a smart move, and I wouldn't house snakes. Too many risk factors.

Yeah, there have been some REAL horror stores about pet chimps turning vicious.

Who has seen the movie Monkey Shines?

Depends entirely on the animal I suppose. A sugar glider would be fine in your home but a tiger probably not.

It shouldn't be an issue so long as the animals you have aren't invasive in the State you live in and won't cause damage to that environment's ecosystem.

Depends on what you mean by exotic. I wouldn't consider something like monkeys or snakes as exotic. If it's something like a rare breed of -insert uncommon pet-, that's a good thing to have.

I would like to have a hyena as a pet, but it needs a lot of space and many conditions to offer so that it feels like it is in its natural habitat.
