Expected to make posts

Do you spend (or at least you used to) a lot of time around IF/ZB forums?

OT: I don't think it's unreasonable to ask your staff to post around the forum a bit. A short burst of activity can build up a lot.

Yeah did and still do but not to the degree I used to since I quit ZNB and got fired at Infinite Results for several reasons.

A lot of those places demand their staff post and stuff but I figured if you have to force yourself to post at a board then it makes you wonder just why you are there in the first place or why the admins even have them as staff?

You should want to post on your own without having to be forced to do something because if you don't enjoy it then it's best if you quit and leave imo.

I don't think there should be a strict activity requirement for being staff; as long as you're doing your job correctly, then that's fine with me.

Lol, I've always liked really helpful staff O.o That's all I worry about. I mean you don't have to post all the time, because I like to see the interest in the posts but I'd like you to at least be there monitoring from time to time ^^; Let the community know you're there doing something, and not just lazying around. You're a staff and a member of that community, so you should at least let your presence be known.

As far as I remember, I've never had to follow a rule like this. And I have never ever made any staff under me do anything like that.

I had Please post when you can, and try to welcome new members. as a rule on one of my forums, but never a set amount of post they had to make.
