What is the most expensive restaurant that you have ever been to?
What did you eat there?
Who did you go with?
What was the occasion?

Do you enjoy fine dining?

No.

Some of the best meals of my life have been in restaurants that have bottles of ketchup on the table.

The experiences I have had in 'white table cloth' places have usually been less than satisfactory for the prices charged. And, last time, the guy with the fake foreign accent did nothing to add anything positive to the evening.

I mostly eat fast food. It's a bit sad because I work at a waiter-service restaurant, but we really don't get paid much. :P

The most expensive restaurant I've been to was a restaurant 15 minutes north of an airport in the Big Island of Hawaii.

Their entrees are $35-40, but I ate pizza for $20. It was on the night of a long day at the ziplines.

I have been to "fancy travel group" starred restaurants in Philadelphia and Baltimore.

I have been to "big newspaper food critic" starred restaurants in Delaware and New Jersey, awhile back in Chicago, and even once in Washington DC.

I've been to "regionally famous" places around here and back east, including one ranked as the best restaurant in the state that just celebrated their fiftieth year in business!

Could I honestly recommend ANY of them for a nice night out where you'd feel like you had gotten a meal AND service that was worth what you paid for it?

No.

I'm not that good of a liar.
