How would you fake your death?

Assuming they'd need a body (if possible), I'd tell everyone I was going hiking in the mountains and never return. They'd assume I was dead sooner or later and hold a memorial for me.

However I'd like the avoid that situation.

I would take a bunch of the smartest scientists from around the world and hold them hostage until they are able to clone my body exactly, I'd then make it kill it's self in New York so that it gains a ton of publicity.
