Hi Friends,

I never like false prestige, so many people present their false prestage. Having well dresses with motor bike nothing in pockets. Neither I have those costly dresses nor bike to ride.

I think the word he was trying to use was "prestige", I think what he was saying is he doesn't like how people look the part of a rich person but not actually be rich such as someone who has a lot of fancy and expensive stuff bought on credit while not actually having the sort of money to afford it.

That's my best guess at least.

Nothing in pockets is a reference to being broke. Well dresses is a reference to expensive or well made clothes or in this case dresses. He obviously doesn't know English very well and lacks coherence which takes an understandable thought and turn it into gibberish. It even took me a bit to grasp what he was saying so I don't blame anyone for not understanding him.

What offends him is people who dress and own things outside of their means and attempt to appear richer then they actually are through most likely using a lot of credit to buy expensive things and pass themselves off as rich.

@yugasini I know there is a language barrier and that makes it tough to know exactly what you're talking about sometimes. :dontknow:

Replying to this, those types of people annoy me too. An example: I used to work with this lady who claimed to have a collection of (restored / expensive) classic cars and I later found out she only had one and it wasn't that great. Why did she need to say she had multiple expensive cars?
