Family Meal

Who sits down as a family and has a meal? Or... do you have food and you all eat at different times separately?



We do not sit down and eat a family meal unless it is Christmas or another major holiday, and we prepare a big feast then sit down and eat it together. Otherwise, we do not eat together, we kind of just eat whenever and whatever. What about yourself/family?

We have a set family meal time. Usually we start when my parents get home from work. Every single night. Except if more than two people are away, we all eat separately.

We don't have a set time, but we do eat meals together, when we're at home. My mom makes supper, and we all eat at the same time - but at 2 different tables (there's 6 of us kids).

At holiday dinners, we eat at my grandparent's house with all my aunts and uncles and cousins.

If my mom's not home, or she just doesn't have anything to cook, we just eat at random times.

My family and I do have family meals most of the time, though lately since my dad works second shift now and I am commuting to college three times a week dinner get togethers are a little bit more difficulty.

I have set times for meals--I don't run a 24 hour restaurant. We don't eat at the dining room table (unfortunately that's where the computer is) but we all eat at the same time and in the same room.
