Should families be permitted to remain friends with your Ex? If it was a nasty break up or a terrible relationship is it still acceptable for your family to remain friends with your ex and continue treating them as part of the family? Should families end the relationship with your ex also if you do?

I really dont know. I'd probably be upset as I broke up with the girl to get her out of my life and she is still going to be around to visit with my family... Then again I can't tell people who they can and cant be friends with.

I also find the word permitted to be rather odd. There are two sides to every story and I also find the word acceptable to be another strange word being used in this topic. I cannot dictate to anyone who they should or not associate with. It would be up to the family not me if they wanted to continue a relationship with my Ex.
