Fast Food Playgrounds

Do you take your kids (if you have any) to those Mc Donald's (or wherever) Play Place type things ?

Did you like to play in them when you were little?

Loved them. Nowadays, all the playgrounds have been taken down around here, because kids either got hurt and they had to or they just took them down to make an eating area for extra space if people wanted to eat outside.

Back now.. I was reading a magazine and listening to my mp3 player so I wouldnt go bored out of my mind.

They put in an air hockey table and a basketball shooting game... So I had to deal with her begging for quarters the whole time. Damn mc donalds and their tricky money making schemes!

I wouldn't take my dog to a place like that!!! All those enclosed tubes being warmed by the sun and the kid's body heat is the perfect environment for bacteria to thrive. You know that the McDonald's workers don't go into the tubes and disinfect them every 30 minutes or anything!

I don't feel like dealing with any of the hundreds of things my kids could pick up from one of those places, so we don't go.

meh.. Its winter time.. Also you can get germs from anywhere. Trying to protect your kids from germs would mean locking them up in a plastic bubble and never allowing them to leave it.

Seriously, you should always wash your hands before and after playing, but if you do not have fun in life and live, without worrying about germs, you'll never live. I remember when I was a kid my mom would let me play in them, but that meant I had to wash my hands before going in there, before I ate, and after we had finished eating/playing. Good thing Nebulous is a dare devil.

Kids need to be exposed to germs so they can build up a better immune system. However I do make her wash her hands before eating and after playing in those things.. Same with the playground at the park.

I don't remember liking them much....I was more into the food

But one of my friends did have a birthday party there when she turned six! XD

We still have one in our McDonald's. Once in a while I still go around with my little sister. It's fun.
