Father's Day is a day honoring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. It is celebrated on the third Sunday of June in 55 of the world's countries and on other days elsewhere.



Its this Sunday (around here at least).



If you are a Father like me, this is your day! Enjoy it and spend it with the kid(s) if possible!



If you have a Father in your life, make sure to make his day special! Even a phone call or email will do if he lives in a different area.

I plan on taking my dad to the park he took me to as a child. We are going to have a story book picnic on a checkered blanket. He will love it!

My dad has passed away but I visit his grave on Father's Day. I bring fresh flowers and sit and talk with him about what's new and thank him for being my dad. I often times bring a book of his favorite poems and I read them to him. He might be dead and buried but he will forever be in my heart. RIP dad and I'll see you Sunday

My ex-step-dad...whatever he is...step-dad, but now divorced...he's taking my brothers and I to the movies and to eat for Father's Day.



I just messaged my biological dad on Facebook telling him Happy Father's Day...don't really know him, but we've talked on Facebook a few times...so it's weird...but he's still my dad. ^.^

My daughter made me a card and a few drawings.. They were cute. She said she has a surprise for me for tomorrow.. Wonder what its going to be.

Your biologial dad will always be your dad. It's a shame that you haven't had the opportunity to get to know him. It's nice, however, that you have a way of communicating with him.

Aww, that's just adorable and there is nothing in the world like getting a homemade card and drawings. Anyone can go and buy a card but she took her time to make stuff for her dad. These are things to cherish as children grow up so fast. I can't wait to hear what her surprise is

Shes been making me a bunch of drawings right now.. She just came to show me one and it was a big green heart (because green is my fav color) and she wrote in it

She put on a pretty dress and said she wants to look pretty for daddy on fathers day. She wants me to take her to the mall so she can show me all the things she would get for me if she had money..

For Father's Day me and my bro met up with my Dad for lunch, then we went and played mini-golf, went to his apartment and hung out in the pool, and then watched the end of the race inside his apartment.



It was the first time all three of us had been together in 8 months. It was rather awkward at times, too...
