A few years out of school I learned that reading can be fun, not only required. So the first discovery was (one by one, of course) all of the James Bond novels.....can't really remember a favorite if I had one.
Probably the most engrossing & memorable has been Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry.
Most recently, Stephen King novels; specifically The Talisman. Have to put The Stand in there too.
But, since the advent of THE INTERNET, books & tv have definitely taken a back seat.
