Favorite male.... OK, got it.

Gilgamesh, on right above, King of Uruk about 2600 BC.

Described as 2/3 god and 1/3 man, he had incredible strength and survived many adventures including having the goddess Ishtar as a lover and who tried to buy her way into being his 'favorite' by giving him a solid gold chariot.

The story is one of the oldest works of literature on the planet, and contains their version of "Noah's Flood" and other central ideas of Western Civilization.

This is one of the first essentially complete academic translations of the epic of Gilgamesh. It includes all of the principal episodes of the epic: the wild man Enkidu; the battle with Humbaba, the cedar forest demon; the death of Enkidu, the journey of Gilgamesh to find the secret of eternal life, in the course of which he encounters the Babylonian Noah, Uta-Napishtim, and hears the story of the great flood.
