There are dozes of dog breed types out there, and a lot of different people own different breeds of dogs. What dog breed do you currently have and what is your favorite dog breed?

I currently have two dogs, one that is my own which is a Husky and Akita mix, and my sisters dog which is a German Shepard mix. I absolutely love husky's as they are sooo pretty. My baby has one blue eye and one brown eye...

I've always thought that Irish Red Setters are really beautiful dogs. You can view them here on Google. I've never owned one, but would like to at some time in the future.

I've always been fond of lab's.

Someone at work was telling me Boston Terriers are a really good dog breed.

@Nebulous, That's why you don't mess with wolves! :P

I didn't. It was my dads friends "dog" it was half dog / half wolf and I was just standing there and he bit my leg like it was a big juicy steak. Good thing my dads friend was there to stop it from going further.

Yeah there is still a big indent mark on my leg where his big tooth went in.

The best breed of dog I ever owned was a Greyhound. They are so gentle and very intelligent. To watch them run and play is an incredible sight.

No, he was not bigger than me. He was medium sized and looked like this one:

Is "mutt" a breed?

The dog on the cover of this book was One-Half Dalmatian (her mother was a purebred), and one half EVERYTHING else as her dad was a real life junkyard dog.

My wife said that our Taffy was "dumber that dirt", and that may have been putting it too nicely as Taffy had no idea that squirrels could climb trees and would run past the tree when chasing the critter and then stop and look around wondering where it went.

On the cover, she was 13, and no, she was not acting pathetic, that was her.

She lived another couple of years, and then took that final ride to the vet when several health problems meant she was having more bad days than good and suffering more often than not, including the fact that she had had a stroke.

Now that made my day and gave me a good laugh. :lol: In my opinion, some of the best dogs are mutts.

My favorite dog breed is the Border Collie. I previously had a dog with Black Lab/Border Collie/German Shepard mix, but I moved somewhere where it doesn't accept pets of any kind.
