Orange chicken, fried rice/noodles, general Tao chicken, sweet and sour chicken and Peking duck for me personally at least anyways. How about you? Have you ever tried it yet or not personally? And if yes, do you enjoy it or not? And if so, what are your favourite Chinese food in your eyes?
Once upon a time we had three good Chinese restaurants in this town. They're gone. The closest thing we have going now is a Panda Express; which I have tried once and whatever I had was pretty good (some kind of noodle dish); but my husband refuses to go back there because it was so horribly noisy. Not "crowd" noisy, but really loud clanging and banging from the kitchen......I don't really blame him, that was pretty unpleasant.
When we did have good restaurants I liked to try different things but usually ended up going back to a special chow mein over pan-fried noodles.
which I try to sort of copy sometimes, but it's never the same.
Probably either Sichuan or Mongolian cuisine (there used a couple Chinese restaurants just off-campus when I was at UNCC back in the mid-late 90's and I almost hung out at them regularly).
