Dire Straits - - Roots rock, blues rock, pub rock

Eagles - - Rock, country rock, soft rock, folk rock

Creedence Clearwater Revival - - (CCR) - - Swamp rock, blues, country rock, rockabilly

So, you can't just say they're "rock" bands.....it gets complicated
