Females Hitting Males

While it's wrong for males to hit females, is it wrong for females to hit males? If a female starts hitting a male, how should the male react? (When I say hit, I mean punching, slapping, and being forceful)

What if she follows you, and keeps getting in your face, slapping and punching you? She just wont stop or go away...

I dont see how hitting her back or fighting her is going to solve any of that. I suppose if there no chance of escape, she could be restrained until she calms down or restrained until the police come and take her away.

On all the domestic calls I have been on, I have to be honest with you. Nine times out of ten it's the male that's going to get arrested. Is it fair? No way but when a female is hit with no witness the guy is going to take the rap for it. Cops always ask the guy why didn't you just leave?

Thats what a guy should do. Thats what Ive always done.

There has never been a situation where I could not get away. Its easy just to hop in my car and drive off.

Oh yeah, I'm real scared. Also the answer is the same. There is tons of alternatives to get out of any weird scenario you ppl can think up. If you think its fine to beat on/ hit a woman in the right circumstances, then thats your deal I suppose.

The concept of it being wrong for a man to hit a woman stems back to the stereotype that all women are weak, helpless, and can not do anything nor protect themselves from anything without a man around to do it. I look at it as if someone is doing anything that would make them appear to threaten your life or attack you such as but not limited to running at you with a knife with intentions to stab you with it then yes it's perfectly acceptable to strike them if the situation calls for it regardless of gender as gender does not play a role in whether they are dangerous or not. So when you say that you would never strike a woman regardless of the situation basically means you believe fully in the stereotype of all women being weak. Considering not all women are weak and not all men are strong basically makes that stereotype out to be complete bullshit like every other stereotype out there. As after all, I rather be the one arguing his morals with others after the fact then the guy lying on the ground in a pool of his own blood with a knife sticking out of his chest. Who would you rather be?
