Author Naomi Wolf has been accused of being 'disrespectful' after suggesting footage of hostages being beheaded by ISIS militants isn't real.

The 51-year-old American writer made a series of controversial statements questioning the authenticity of the footage in a number of messages on her Facebook page.

The initial post in which the feminist activist questions where the terror group are 'getting all these folks from' was deleted.

In another post, she also said that the Obama administration was sending troops to West Africa to confront the Ebola outbreak so they could return with the deadly infection - justifying a military takeover of Africa.

This feminist group thinks this iconic WWII statue should be torn down because it represents a sexual assault. The members of this group have WAY too much time on their hands…

French feminist group Osez Le Feminisme has complained the statue represents a ‘sexual assault’ because the woman had the kiss ‘forced upon her’ by the sailor.


The group, which has started a petition calling for it be removed, also claims the photographer who took the original photo – Alfred Eisenstaedt – said the sailor had grabbed and tried to kiss all the women around him before the shot was taken.

A spokesman for Osez Le Feminisme said: ‘We cannot accept that the Caen Memorial erected a sexual assault as a symbol of peace.

‘We therefore request the removal of this sculpture as soon as possible.

“The sailor could have laughed with these women, hugged them, asked them if he could kiss them with joy.

‘No, he chose to grab them with a firm hand to kiss them. It was an assault.’

The petition has so far attracted more than 700 signatures.

Is there such a thing as a meninist? Y'know, someone fighting for male rights. Because there are rights that women have which men don't, which means neither males nor females are equal.

Come to think of it, why not scrap feminism and pick something less egocentric? "Equalism" perhaps. 100% equality between genders, races, everything. Woman hits you? You hit her right back.

Equality goes both ways, and feminism generally seems to forget that.
