They are naked. I hate nail polish because I hate having attention on my hands. And plus nail polish would give my hamster a stroke. xD

normally, they're nicely manicured and painted some bright color, but i've been cutting stones this week and they're a ground down wreck with badly cracked skin around the thumbs and forefingers.
I tend not to doll them up too much. I much prefer my nails to be bare but clean and not very long. Since I work with my hands and cardboard boxes, plastic, etc, I get lots of cuts and I get my nails caught on things easily, so it's not hard to rip them off. >_>
