Have you ever been fired from a job before? What was your reason? Did you move onto something different or better afterwards?

Not fired, but I have quit a couple of times, the last time because I had to stop working to look after my mother.

I too have quit so many mostly via no call no show....lol

I've never been fired from a job, but I have quit with very little notice a couple of times. I've had many problems in the past couple of years...
I quit my job at DG without any notice and seems no one got super mad or upset for it as I made up a good reason. Well...the reason is sort of true.

I've never been fired before, though my last job I didn't put my two weeks in. I called in a few times, but eventually just stopped calling in and didn't show up. I got a new job shortly after anyways, so I was only out of work for about a month. It was at Walmart, and I got fed up with the managers accusing all the people working in dairy as lazy when in fact only two people were slacking off. That was the last straw, I worked there for six years and never even got my five year plaque. I feel that HR ladies were shady, and felt that at least one was a bit transphobic... I heard her agreeing with an associate about Target's bathroom policy that was new at the time and yeah it wasn't any good opinion, I'll leave it at that.

🤬

Glad you got away from that sort of an environment. Absolutely terrible sort of thing to try and work with.

I haven't been fired from a job yet and I hope that never happens. I would rather glady resign than being fired. As a matter of fact, I have resigned from 3 different jobs when it no longer suits me.

Never been fired from a job though but I was close to being once for something I hadn't even done. I was working as a waitress at a restaurant of a family friend's mum, she owned the place and someone was stealing from the cash register. No one knew who it was and everyone who worked became a suspect, I and someone else was close to being fired due to the issue until the person who was stealing got caught out.

I have left some jobs voluntarily. Getting fired from a job has never happened to me. I try to do my best and when I am fed up, I tend to leave.
