What was the first car you ever owned?

:| Can't really remember, I've had so many. Might have been an Eagle Summit.

The first one I had that was MINE was a 1968 Ford Falcon, 2 door.

This is NOT my car, but it is the same year, make, and model

I bought it in 78 and drove it when I was in college for a couple of years.

Evidently Ford forgot there was such a thing as UNDERCOAT when they made the thing. It was only ten years old, but was so rusty you could open the driver's door while sitting in the seat and see the front tire.

It was the car that got me a ticket for littering because one day coming home I hit a pothole and the bottom of the trunk fell out. A city cop pulled me over and said I'd left a bunch of junk all over the road. He laughed the whole time while I went back and picked up pieces of metal and assorted crap that had been in the trunk, then gave me a warning to not let my car fall apart while on city streets.

The tail pipe fell off one day and I had to run a wire coathanger up and tie it to part of the support that held the back seat in.

One day when I was doing something under the hood I noticed that the battery cables were holding the battery up.

You could dispose of sandwich wrappers by lifting the floor mat on the passenger side and simply dropping them out on to the ground below.

When the back bumper decided to stay home one day when I left for school, we unloaded it. A guy bought the car for the motor, which ran fine and was worth more than the rest of the car had been for some time.

A maroon 2002 Oldsmobile Alero. Still have it. 6 years going strong.
