What was your first concert?

Hmmm... Either David Essex (Mum dragged me), Chris DeBurgh (Mum dragged me, but he was really good) or Roger Taylor (Queen Drummer, did a solo gig when I was 11 or 12)

A rush concert at the age of 12. MIght have been one of the youngest to attend, but it was a pretty good concert. Well worth it.

It may have been REO Speedwagon, but I'm not sure.

The first one I DO remember being at was .38 Special, when they were BOOED OFF THE STAGE at Western Illinois University because they were too drunk/stoned/incapacitated to play their show during the "Special Forces" tour in, what was it?... 1983 or 4.

The promoter quickly rousted out the warm up band to do another half hour of 'warm up' while they poured coffee into the headliners (and explained their contractual obligations) before they sent them back out.

I really loved it! The ending was spectacular when they played Free Bird.

Cool. I don't remember the first concert I've been to.

Depends how you look at it. In 1993, while pregnant with me, my mum went to see Iron Maiden with my dad. Apparently I kicked a lot that night, clearly mashing!

First one while breathing for myself, AC/DC in 2009.
