First date for me has to be a public place. I always take my own car just in case things don't work out.
On one first date I went on, we met at a very nice cafe. The guy was so obnoxious
and all he talked about was himself. I excused myself pretending I had to use the restroom. Instead of using the restroom, I left the cafe through a side door and drove myself home.
