What was your first social media account?

Emails, does that count :P All in all, I say or think it's Facebook :) FB been around longer than Twitter.

Myspace. I don't know why people flocked to Facebook over Myspace. I really feel like it wasn't that much bigger of a difference.

forums were my first, on the G4.tv forums no less. I believe it was followed up with a facebook account.

MySpace

Bebo, which was pretty much only popular in the UK & Ireland... I don't think I know anyone IRL that had a myspace, or if they did they didn't use it much

My parents didn't allow us to use MySpace back then, so I was using a Christian social network known as ShoutLife. I'm sure no one has ever heard of it, but it was somewhat popular when I was a preteen. :P

A forum - Gaming Update - which is sadly no longer around..

Excluding forums, probably MySpace although I don't think I really bothered with it much.

MySpace, man I miss the simplicity of the platform. It was all about connecting with friends, not selling your data or any of the stuff Facebook does.

Also MySpace. It was huge back in the day and then just kind of lost itself and lost out to the onslaught of Facebook.

It was Facebook for me. I remember joining it when I was 12 because everyone else already had an account. Spending ages just adding everyone you knew was quite fun lol.

I suppose the majority of people had a myspace as did I. I like that you can have songs on a profile and rather facebook and bleek and bland and made for older people. It seems myspace was built around style. It was also made around comments rather then a feed.

Makes sense to have MySpace before others as it was one of the big and oldest networks, bigger than FaceBook at one point right?

As far as I can remember, the first social media that I use is Friendster.
