Fish and chips can be great, but it's greatness is also its limitation. A good fish and chips is amazing. Warming, comforting, the crispy batter, the succulent fish, slightly soggy but yet crisp outer of the chips, all excellent absorbing the flavour of the salt and vinegar. It brings back brilliant memories, sitting on a beach in beautiful weather, eating a large slab of freshly caught fish.
