Do we have any people here who keep fish?

I have kept fish for a number of years, started off with Goldfish, as most of us do, then moved onto Betta fish and now i am keeping Warm Water fish.

Recently got myself a decent tank and started to get some warm water fish, will share some pics soon, but it's very fun.

I also went out and purchased another Betta, he was in a small container so i got him a 12L tank, they normally have half a liter so it is a big improvement. Just gotta get some live plants in there and he will be good.

What sort of fish do you keep?

Ive had fresh water aquariums (cold water fish (like goldfish) and tropical fish) and Ive had salt water aquariums.

Its a lot of work but its a fun hobby. Currently I have a small aquarium with some goldfish.

Saltwater is my next step. Need a bit of money to get it started up first though, and space to put the tank, as I'd like to get a decent sized one with corals etc.

Post up a picture of your tank when you set it up

I used to have fishes as pets when I was in secondary school. Had a few of fighting fishes and guppies. I had a flowerhorn once too

I used to have three goldfish. It was strange though, two died within a week of buying them. The third went on for about four years.

I used to keep a reef tank but had to sell it, they're fun to keep but eat money. They do take a lot of work but that's part of the fun. Before that I had a tropical/freshwater tank with Pleco's, Sharks and a couple of Angel Fish.

Make sure to get plenty of research done too, it's an expensive hobby to get wrong. I'd recommend getting a couple of good books and browsing some build threads on forums like http://www.reefcentral.com.

I don't keep fish. But one of my friends keep. And he's willing to spend a lot of money in fish.He had shown his little water aquarium to me.It looked very wonderful!

When I saw it,I saw a miniature sea world.I feeled quite relaxed.Maybe I could spend one day enjoy the time I watch it.

We used to have goldfish. They kept dying all the time so we gave up and stopped buying new fish.
