Okay, I know this is a stinky subject but.....

There is a guy that I work with and he's really making want to tell him to put a cork in his butt

Every time we (the ambulance crew) go out to eat and no matter where it is, he has to let one rip really loud when he's done eating.

He doesn't seem to care that everyone in the place is now staring at us. After he does it, he points to one of us and says really loud: You ought to learn to control yourself in public.

One day, he's going to wind up like this and I'm not going to respond to the call for help:

I think it's a guy thing!

This guy farted so LOUD one time that a poor elderly lady at the next table thought it was a gun shot. I'm surprised she didn't take cover under her table

lmfao! And a guy thing? I at least try and go elsewhere.

I think you or one of the crew should just tell him straight that it isn't funny, nor acceptable behaviour. If that doesn't make him change his ways, then just don't go eat with him.

He's obviously a bit of an ignorant buffoon.

I've told him before but it just backfires on me XD I no longer go along when they eat out. I think a buffoon has better manners than this guy

next time you all go out the rest of you should sit there and when he does it you should all pull out respirators ..............be obvious whos the guilty party then

We need gas masks that's for sure!

Do you guys have office mailboxes? If so, I'd anonymously put a bottle of gas medication in his box to send him a hint.

The guitarist in Dog Days farted out loud all the time.. Didn't care who was around. Personally I think that is so rude!

It's only funny when it's not directed at you ):

I don't find anything funny tbh. I think it is rude and disgusting. Yes, everyone farts but go do it where others can smell or hear it
icon_mad.gif
The guy in my OP does this on purpose just to embarrass us. Like I stated earlier, I no long go out to eat with the crew if he's coming. We are in uniform and (IMO) represent the hospital. He's just plain immature and gross

All these years later and he's still doing it. All these years later, I still NEVER go out to eat if he's going to come along or be there.

No, it's not, it's an Ignorance thing.

I now call the cast of "here comes Honey Boo" to the stand as People's Exhibit One, and no, I've never seen the show, but I did see an interview with the cast where one of the questions was about why there are fart jokes in Every episode.

Allow the Shannon/Thompson clan of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" to introduce you to a rousing game about farting called "doorknob."

"What the hell is 'doorknob'?" Mama June asks in the clip below. Well, if you're asking the same question, allow us to explain.

You may be familiar with "doorknob" if you lived in a dorm of some kind, but here's what happens: Somebody farts. The person who farts then has to say "safety" before somebody else in the vicinity says "doorknob" to be safe. If "doorknob" is successfully shouted, then it's chaos until the farter reaches the doorknob.

"Farting can be healthy and fun," Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson says.

Mama June is not really impressed with the "doorknob" game, but as Jessica aka "Chubbs" says, "There has to be some order around here when it comes to farting."

Point of irony here.

She who was complaining in this thread about her aromatic and somewhat musical coworker posted such as her first joke in the contest thread.

It's funny to read about it but not so funny when it happens in RL. I might, however, be a fart magnet. I was talking this morning to an elderly lady in the pharmacy. She was asking me a question and then let one rip....I so wanted to run and get her a bottle of BEANO. Funniest part, is she just kept right on talking like nothing happened. Perhaps she was there to get hearing aid batteries????

And then you have the "blame the cat" excuse.

But in this case, it may be true.

11 April 2014

Over the years people have surrendered cats and dogs to shelters for all sorts of reasons but rarely for excessive flatulence.

Lenny, the black and white domestic shorthair stray, may have the most novel backstory of them all, after being returned to Scottsville Veterinary Hospital and Pet Adoptions in Washington for "farting all the time."
