Flu Vaccine

Have you gotten one yet?



I got the vaccine today. (Not the Swine flu but the regular one)

It was weird, judging by my age and health, they just had me breath in this stuff instead of giving me a shot. They said it was just as effective.

Nope, do not plan on it now. I had the H1N1 flu, never had the vaccine, have had the regular flu vaccine before, but I do not need the regular flu shot, because more than likely any flu virus going around now is the Swine, and my immune system has already set up a fighter jet to chase it off from coming back.

I get mine every year, but it doesn't work. I guess vaccinations just hate me. When I was little, they didn't give me a shot, they just made me drink something awful tasting. And then they gave me a lollipop after. So even if it didn't work, it was still worth it.

Now I'd rather not bother.

Well we will see if this works. All I did was breath in some stuff..

I would think a shot is more effective but they said its the same.

It's the same. The vaccine that they give you to breathe is like what they give my husband every year.

I never get one. But he does. He has lung issues, and the doctor recommends it.

was it free? my school gives out Free flu and H1N1 vaccines (while supplies last of course )

I got the shot a few months ago and it hurts, but I'm guessing it worked.

Our whole school was so infected that we had to shut down for three days, but I never got sick at all...and it's been freakishly cold and we've had football games and it's even colder at night!!
