Are you good at following recipes? Like if you opened a cook book and saw a picture of a meal with a recipe under it, could you make it look exactly like the picture (picture perfect)?



Or do you just use a recipe as a guideline and make your own thing?
 
I use a very good recipe site and follow the recipe directions when I make it for the first time. Sometimes, however, after making something I will make it again substituting some of the ingredients. More like trial and error before I get it exactly the way I like it.
 
I use recipes to make stuff, but its far from picture perfect
