It's been 20 hours for me so far without power. There are over 100k of us in my area waiting for it to be restored. I'm able to type this because I have my generator running. I have to, however, shut the generator down as I have to save the remaining gas in it. The gas station in town has no electric and their pumps are not working. Roads leading to the next closest gas station are closed due to downed trees and flooding. I have a feeling the power won't be restored in my area until tomorrow (if I'm that lucky). Hope they surprise me and get it back up today but I doubt it.

I hope it won't be too much longer before you get power back

on over there Jazzy.

I wonder how the elderly are coping without electricity, especially

those with electric cooking and heating !
